Welsh Dresser

Working together with the client (who is an ex-architect), odddot reinterpreted the traditional Welsh dresser into a built-in piece suitable for a contemporary home. The client asked for ‘the biggest Welsh dresser in town’ and so the structure was simplified and painted in the client’s wall colour in order for it to still act as a feature but not encroach on the size of the room. Using the neutral shade and allowing the dresser to blend into the walls allows the client’s decor and objet d’art to become the main focus.
